Matthew Baldwin, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Romain Wattel share Abu Dhabi lead

Englishman Matthew Baldwin sits at the top of the Abu Dhabi Championship leaderboard alongside Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Romain Wateel after the first round.

All three competitors carded a five-under 67, with Baldwin making up for scoring two bogeys on the ninth and 16th holes respectively, by shooting seven birdies.

Scottish duo Craig Lee and Marc Warren, as well as Irishman Paul McGinley, sit one shot behind the leaders following the first round.

Former world number one Rory McIlroy and Ryder Cup teammate Luke Donald are two of 16 tied 19th in the standings after carding a two-under 70.
