Tiger Woods to hold clear-the-air talks with Tom Watson

Woods to clear the air with Watson

World number one Tiger Woods has revealed that he will sit down with Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson to clear the air.

The pair's relationship has been tested in recent years following Watson's public criticism of Woods's game, as well as of his extra-marital affairs.

"We haven't spoken yet but I am sure as we have another year plus or about a year ahead of us, so there will be a lot of time between now and then to talk," Sky Sports News quotes Woods as saying.

Watson will skipper the USA team in next year's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland.
