Tiger Woods 'frustrated' by recent lack of success

Woods: 'Lack of success is frustrating'

Tiger Woods has admitted that his poor form in 2015 has left him very frustrated as he prepares for the USA PGA Championship next month.

The 14-time Major champion has missed the cut at both the US Open and Open Championship this summer, and he has fallen to 266 in the world rankings.

The 39-year-old has not won one of of the four Majors since 2008, but he insists that he is still capable of performing on the big occasions.

He said at a press conference: "It's frustrating not being able to win golf tournaments, not really being there in contention very often but I know how close it feels and I know I just need a couple of shots here and there and it turns the tide.

"People don't really realise how close it is between a person who is winning and a person missing the cut."

Woods has not won a tournament since 2013.
