Chris Wood has claimed that he is ready to win more tournaments after clinching the Qatar Masters title in dramatic fashion on Saturday.
An eagle on the final hole secured a one-shot victory for the Englishman, who admits that a lot of pressure has been relieved following his maiden triumph on the European Tour.
Wood told Sky Sports News: "I knew it was going to be hard today, no matter how I played - to win on the European Tour, it's not easy.
"I felt like I've been due to win for a couple of years. There's an enormous weight lifted off my shoulders today. I feel like I can go on and win more now.
"I've seen a few mates get into those events at the end of the season and pick up the trophy and I've been waiting patiently for my turn and fortunately it's come today."
Wood will aim to continue his good form when he competes in the Dubai Desert Classic next week.
