Lee Westwood recorded a round of 61 to tie for the lead with Louis Oosthuizen at the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in China.

Lee Westwood has produced a startling 11-under-par round of 61 to share the lead at the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in China.

The world number four recorded a faultless round of golf to top the leaderboard with Louis Oosthuizen going into the final day at Misson Hills Golf Club.

The South African had held a five-shot advantage overnight but a round of 70 enabled Westwood to wipe out what had appeared to be a commanding lead.

Phil Mickelson hit a 66 to lie three shots off the pace, while Ian Poulter, Bill Haas and Ernie Els are a further shot adrift in fourth place.

Earlier in the day, Brandt Snedeker missed a 20-foot putt on the final hole for a round of 59.
