Snedeker, Choi lead Farmers Open

Brandt Snedeker and KJ Choi have a share of the lead after the opening day of the Farmers Open in La Jolla, California.

American Snedeker hit seven birdies, while South Korean Choi holed eight birdies and a bogey as the pair ended on seven-under-par rounds of 65.

Englishman Ross Fisher is a shot further back with another American, Josh Teater, Canadian Adam Hadwin and four others.

England's David Lynn carded a five-under round of 67, while Ryder Cup hero Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium is with a host of other players on three-under.

American Keegan Bradley hit four birdies and two bogeys on his way to a two-under round of 70.
