Webb Simpson takes lead at McGladrey Classic

Webb Simpson has taken a one-shot lead after the first day of the McGladrey Classic in Georgia.

The American ended the day at the top of the leaderboard on seven-under-par along with fellow countryman Zack Miller.

Three more Americans, Scott McCarron, Billy Horschel and Martin Piller, are all one shot further back.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell hit a level par 70, while England's Paul Casey carded a one-under 69.
