Marcel Siem takes clubhouse lead in Trophee Hassan II after second round

Marcel Siem has moved to the top of the Trophee Hassan II leaderboard with a three-shot lead after the second round.

The German shot a 68 for the day following three bogeys and seven birdies on the course in Morocco, while Mikko Ilonen sits in second courtesy of a six-under 66, placing the Finnish pro nine under overall.

Englishman David Horsey is tied in second place following a damaging double bogey on the eighth hole, despite shooting eight birdies over the course of the day.

Pablo Larrazabal of Spain sits fourth, four shots off the pace.
