Justin Rose climbs three places in latest golf world rankings

Justin Rose moves up three places from sixth to ninth in the latest golf world rankings after his victory in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

England's Justin Rose has climbed from ninth to sixth in the latest golf world rankings following his victory in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans yesterday.

The 34-year-old birdied his last two holes at TPC Louisiana to claim a one-shot victory.

It's been a good couple of weeks for Rose as he also finished second at The Masters earlier this month behind world number two Jordan Spieth, who still trails Rory McIlroy at the top of the standings.

Rose's fellow Englishman Lee Westwood also won on the Asian Tour over the weekend to move up six places from 33rd to 27th.
