Justin Rose has revealed that he does not feel under any extra pressure to win a major tournament.
The 31-year-old has struggled to mount a serious challenge at major tournaments in recent years but he admits that they are not his primary concern.
Rose said: "I still don't think I'm at the point where I solely look at the majors. To become a more prolific winner is the first aim and hopefully a major gets in the way of that.
"I've not been overly impressive in them the last couple of years but they should suit me."
The Englishman will be aiming for his first top 10 finish in a major for three years in the Masters at Augusta this week.
