Play suspended in Qatar due to high winds

High winds suspend play at the Qatar Masters as John Daly resumes the lead after a disappointing back nine for Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano.

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano has dropped down the leader board as high winds postpone play in the Commercialbank Qatar Masters after just three hours in Doha.

The Spaniard, who finished day one on top, stumbled in round two and slipped to four-under after bogeying the 13th and 14th holes.

The 31-year-old's demise resulted in America's John Daly resuming the lead by default as the former Open champion has yet to hit a shot.

Jason Day and KJ Choi currently share the second spot on the leader board, with Englishman Lee Westwood joint 48th after a disappointing double bogey on the 11th hole.
