McIlroy: 'I was rusty'

World number one Rory McIlroy has admitted that he felt a "little bit rusty" on the course in the first round at the Abu Dhabi Championship.

The Northern Irishman, who is using new clubs, carded a three-over-par 75 after scoring two double bogeys and is in danger of missing the cut.

"I feel I was just a little bit rusty," BBC Sport quotes McIlroy as saying. "I didn't drive it particularly well and didn't hole any putts."

Tiger Woods finished his round on level par.
