Fraser takes overall lead in Australia

Australian pro Marcus Fraser has taken the lead at the PGA Championship with a seven-under 65 in Coolum.

The 33-year-old took a commanding two-shot lead after a comfortable round with seven birdies and no bogeys, making him favourite to claim the championship.

Bubba Watson led the chasing pack after the second day with a nine-under 68, with KT Kim below the American on eight-under par in Australia.

Yesterday's leader Choi Joon-Woo remained at six-under, while YE Yang climbed up the board to third place with an eight-under par.

Despite a positive start, British Open champion Darren Clarke dropped to one-over 73 at the end of the second round.
