Fan attacks Tiger Woods with hot dog

A drunk fan was arrested at the Frys.com Open yesterday after he threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during play.

The man burst onto the green as Woods was preparing to putt the 16th hole of the day in the fourth round.

"Some guy just came running on the green, and he had a hot dog, and evidently — I don't know how he tried to throw it, but I was kind of focusing on my putt when he started yelling," Woods recalled afterwards.

"Next thing I know he laid on the ground, and looked like he wanted to be arrested really because he laid on the ground, put his hands behind his back and turned his head."

The fan told police that he was not aiming for Woods with his weapon but failed to explain his actions.
