Simon Dyson: 'I've found my love for golf again'

Simon Dyson claims that he has found his love for golf again following his hearing for breaching a rule at last year's BMW Masters.

Simon Dyson has claimed that he has found his love for golf again after he avoided a ban for breaching rules at October's BMW Masters.

The 36-year-old was given a two-month suspended ban and a £30,000 fine for illegally tapping down a spike in Shanghai towards the end of last season.

"I've got my love back for the game," Dyson told BBC Sport.

"There was a good chance that golf might have been taken away from me for a couple of months if the panel had seen it differently.

"In the last two years I've not really enjoyed my golf and then to have it all topped off by that was pretty low."

Dyson will compete for the first time since his December hearing when he tees off at the Abu Dhabi Championship on Thursday.
