Luke Donald has said that he is looking forward to competing in this week's Honda Classic.
The world number one won the event last year, which helped spur him on to his best season ever, finishing top of the money list on both the European and PGA Tours.
"This is really where it all started for me for last year," said Donald during a media gathering ahead of the event.
"My last win in America before coming here and winning was in 2006 at the Honda Classic. So it had been a while since I'd won on the PGA Tour.
"To come here and play against the best players in the world and to win in the fashion I did, gave me a huge amount of confidence."
Donald won four titles in 2011, including the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship, which he will defend at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club next week.
