Luke Donald close to top form

Luke Donald believes that he is close to hitting the form that won him four tournaments in 2011, after successfully defending his European Tour's PGA Championship.

The Englishman returned to number one in the world rankings and he was keen to praise his form ahead of this week's Memorial tournament.

"I feel like my game is in a good spot, and excited about this week. It's a good field and a great tournament," Donald said.

"Just to play that back nine in three under, play a lot of solid shots and not get really out of position, really be in control of my golf ball under the pressure ... I walked away really feeling good about that."

Only two other players have won the PGA Championship at Wentworth twice running.
