Big-hitting Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts has announced that he will play on the PGA Tour next year.
The 29-year-old starred in Europe's historic Ryder Cup victory at Medinah in September, most notably going 10-under par to seal a vital point against Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker on the first day.
Colsaerts has earned £426,463 over this year, which qualifies him for a slot on the American tour. He posted the news on Twitter: "It's official now...PGA Tour member!!
"I will still play a few in Europe...my heart will always be back home."
Colsaerts, who turned professional in 200, is ranked number 34 in the world.
