Hole-in-one record smashed as Jimmy Walker wins Masters Par 3 contest

Walker breaks record in Masters Par 3 contest

Jimmy Walker broke the scoring record for the Masters Par 3 contest as holes-in-one poured in at Augusta on Wednesday.

Walker played the short course in just 19 shots thanks to six birdies and one of the record nine holes-in-one.

He finished three shots clear of fellow Americans Keegan Bradley and Craig Stadler.

Eighty-year-old Gary Player became the oldest player to score an ace in the traditional event, which takes place the day before the first round of the year's opening Major.
