Casey, Mickelson in hunt at Augusta

Paul Casey has moved into a tie for third at the halfway point of The Masters after carding a 68 at Augusta.

The Englishman, currently ranked 44th in the world, made a steady start with birdies at the first and sixth holes to reach the turn in two-under-par for the round.

Casey was able to maintain his form over the back nine, picking up further strokes at 12 and 15 to finish the day on seven-under for the tournament, alongside Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose.

Phil Mickelson is a shot further back after recovering from an early bogey to move into contention.

The three-time Masters champion sunk four birdies over the closing nine holes to finish on six-under, eight behind leader Jordan Spieth.
