Garcia, Leishman lead the way in Augusta

Sergio Garcia and Marc Leishman lead the way at the end of the first round of the Masters in Augusta with scores of six-under-par.

The Spaniard recorded six birdies and no bogeys for a final score of 66 to share the lead with the Australian.

There was mixed fortunes for world number one Tiger Woods, who ended the day on two-under-par with a score of 70 - the same points tally he managed when he won the tournament in 1997, 2000 and 2001.

Northern Irish hopeful Rory McIlroy came in on par, starting off on a positive note with three early birdies on the front nine, only to be pegged back by five bogies throughout the day.
