Paul McGinley delighted with team display

Europe captain Paul McGinley reveals that he has been impressed with his side's collective display at the 2014 Ryder Cup.

Europe captain Paul McGinley has described his team's performance as "brave" after they gained control of the 2014 Ryder Cup on Saturday.

USA reduced the deficit to one point in the morning session, but Europe dropped just half a point in the afternoon to open up a four-point advantage going into tomorrow's singles matches.

The Irishman told Sky Sports News: "The guys were brave again today after a strong American performance, but they produced again.

"It's been a great team performance. Collectively as a team, everyone has pulled their weight and collectively we've come together."

Europe require four points to retain the trophy that they won in Medinah in 2012, while an extra 0.5 will be needed to win outright.
