Bottas plans to stay with Williams

Valtteri Bottas has revealed that he plans to stay with Williams after returning to Formula 1 with the team last year.

The 25-year-old Finnish driver, who has been competing alongside Felipe Massa, has been amid rumours that he will sign fresh terms with the team.

"Personally I don't see a reason to look around at this moment," BBC Sport quotes Bottas as saying. "But it's too early to say. It's better to wait for confirmation and we will speak when we have something to say.

"I really think the direction is right and I'm confident this team can still be better than what we've seen this year."

Bottas will compete in this weekend's Italian Grand Prix.
