FIA drop three races from Formula 1 calender

The FIA opt to drop New Jersey, Mexico and South Korea from the 2014 Formula 1 calender.

New Jersey, Mexico and South Korea have all been dropped from the 2014 Formula 1 calender.

The FIA confirmed the omissions this afternoon, as well as revealing that there will be 19 races in total during the next campaign.

The season will get underway in Australia on March 16, before concluding in Abu Dhabi on November 23.

Meanwhile, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone will take place on July 6.
