Nico Rosberg fears for "legendary" German Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg worries that the "legendary" German Grand Prix could be dropped from the 2015 calendar.

Nico Rosberg has said that he is disappointed that the future of the German Grand Prix is yet to be secured.

Last month, representatives from the Hockenheim circuit revealed that the deal for the race had not been confirmed and speculation continues to circulate about whether the event will even take place in 2015.

However, Rosberg believes that the German Grand Prix must be a regular fixture on the Formula 1 calendar.

He is quoted by Autosport as saying: "For as long as I can think there was a German GP and it was legendary, like the British GP - such a fundamental part of the F1 season.

"So it makes me feel very disappointed that it has not been fixed yet into the calendar."

Hockenheim had been touted as a replacement venue for the Nurburgring, which pulled out of running the event.
