Zimbabwe, Morocco share the spoils

It has finished 0-0 in the Group B match between Zimbabwe and Morocco in the African Nations Championship.

Issam Erraki had the first real chance of the contest, but his powerful effort was kept out by George Chigoya. The same player then fired wide from outside the box.

Zimbabwe missed a golden opportunity to take the lead when Donald Ngoma failed to find the target with just the goalkeeper to beat.

Early in the second half Zakaria El Hachimi was left unmarked at the back post, but he directed his shot wide across goal.

However, Zimbabwe had the best chance to win the match when Simbarashe Sithole's effort came off the post from close range and Ali Sadiki's subsequent effort was blocked.

Sadiki then tried an attempt on goal with his left foot from an awkward angle, but it went wide.
