Wolverhampton Wanderers cancel Kevin Foley contract

Wolves let Foley go

Defender Kevin Foley has left Wolverhampton Wanderers after seven and a half years with the Black Country club.

The 30-year-old has had his contract cancelled by the Championship side six months early and departs after making over 200 appearances in gold and black.

"We thank Kevin for his excellent service to Wolves over many years," head coach Kenny Jackett told the club website.

"On behalf of everyone at Wolves I would like to wish him all the very best in his future career."

Foley has found a new club quickly and joins Danish side FC Copenhagen, who are managed by former Wolves boss Stale Solbakken.
