Fagner seals Wolfsburg move

Wolfsburg have sealed a move for Vasco da Gama defender Fagner, according to reports in Germany.

The 23-year-old is expected to move to the Bundesliga club for around £3.1m.

"I've spoken to the people involved and the situation is irreversible," Vasco president Roberto Dinamite is quoted as saying by Bild. "Fagner has made a decision and we have to respect his wishes."

The former Brazil Under-20 international spent one season in Europe with PSV Eindhoven in 2007 before returning to his home country with Vasco.
