Team News: Nicklas Bendtner starts in attack for Wolfsburg

Nicklas Bendtner has been selected to start in attack as Wolfsburg host Hertha Berlin at the Volkswagen Arena.

Bas Dost is forced to settle for a spot on the bench as Dieter Hecking keeps one eye on Tuesday's meeting with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, but most of the home side's key players do start.

Julian Draxler is in the side after opening his account in midweek, while Max Kruse and Andre Schurrle both provide support for lone striker Bendtner.

Hertha boss Pal Daradai has opted to leave Salomon Kalou on the bench as Vedad Ibisevic earns the right to start up front for the visitors.

Jens Hegeler is also named as a substitute, but Genki Haraguchi and Tolga Cigerci are among the starters.
