West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke satisfied with Peter Odemwingie response

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke says that he is pleased with Peter Odemwingie's response following his three-match ban for violent conduct.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke believes that Peter Odemwingie has "learned his lesson" after getting sent off against Fulham last month.

The 31-year-old was shown a red card in the Baggies' 3-0 defeat to the Cottagers, which triggered a three-match ban for the Nigerian.

"His sending-off was a blow for him," Clarke told the club's official website. "I think he has learned his lesson and he showed that in the game against Queens Park Rangers. I put him back in for that game and he played really well and he did what I thought he would do."

Odemwingie is expected to feature against Southampton in the Premier League this weekend.
