West Brom boss Steve Clarke admits he is disappointed not to have come away with all three points following Sunday's 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has conceded that he is a "little bit disappointed" with a point after his side drew 1-1 at Aston Villa on Sunday.

Shane Long fired the Baggies into a 51st-minute lead at Villa Park before Darren Bent came off the bench to earn a share of the spoils 10 minutes from time.

"I think it's a good result," Clarke told Sky Sports News. "We came here expecting a difficult game and that's what we got.

"We're a little bit disappointed, the players are disappointed in the dressing room because we didn't get the three points.

"Overall I think we have to be happy with our efforts because, having been disrupted a little bit with injuries, the team performance was really good."

West Brom's point against their local rivals has kept them sixth in the Premier League table.
