Stevenage confirm loan signing of Watford midfielder Connor Smith

Stevenage have confirmed the signing of Watford midfielder Connor Smith on a one-month loan.

The 22-year-old has appeared 13 times for the Hornets' first team after making his Watford bow in August 2012, and has previously spent time on loan at Wealdstone and Gillingham.

Smith links up with the League Two side having made his 13th Watford appearance during last week's League Cup defeat to Preston North End.

He has also represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.
