Jokanovic: Angella dismissal was "a joke"

Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic struggled to hide his frustration after seeing his team reduced to 10 men after just 26 seconds of their match with Bournemouth on Friday night.

Gabriele Angella was dismissed for a professional foul on Callum Wilson despite not being the last defender, and after the match Jokanovic was quick to describe the decision as "a joke".

The 46-year-old told Sky Sports News: "In England, for it to happen after 25 seconds like this, it is a joke.

"I better not make any opinion. I prefer not to make any comment about this situation. It is simple - it is wrong and strange.

"We had practised with 10 players but never for 94 minutes, this is something different."

Bournemouth ran out comfortable 2-0 winners to move three points clear at the top of the Championship table.
