Karl Hawley leaves Torquay United

Torquay United striker Karl Hawley has left the club after an agreement was reached to terminate the remainder of the striker's contract.

The 32-year-old joined the Conference side in August 2013 but scored just three goals in 30 appearances last season.

A club statement read: "Everyone at Plainmoor would like to thank Karl for his hard work in United Yellow and we wish him the very best in his future career."

Hawley was transfer-listed following the club's relegation from the Football League and has not featured this campaign.
