Torquay United striker Karl Hawley leaves the club after an agreement was reached to terminate the remainder of the striker's contract.

Torquay United striker Karl Hawley has left the club after an agreement was reached to terminate the remainder of the striker's contract.

The 32-year-old joined the Conference side in August 2013 but scored just three goals in 30 appearances last season.

A club statement read: "Everyone at Plainmoor would like to thank Karl for his hard work in United Yellow and we wish him the very best in his future career."

Hawley was transfer-listed following the club's relegation from the Football League and has not featured this campaign.
