Great Britain's Claire Harvey looks to Rio after finishing eighth in sitting volleyball

Harvey values Paralympic experience

Great Britain's sitting volleyball player Claire Harvey has claimed that she and her teammates are already looking to Rio 2016 following their defeat to Japan in the women's event.

The British side failed to win a set in the contest as Japan dropped ParalympicsGB into eighth place after winning the clash 25-23, 25-19, 25-13.

"This was always going to be a very tough tournament," said Harvey. "It was all about gaining experience in this sort of arena, which you don't get anywhere else, and to take our sport into Rio."

The Brits failed to win a set in their five matches at the London Games.
