Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that it has been a "great journey" for his side following their debut season in the Premier League.
The Welsh club, who have finished 11th in the table, concluded their campaign on a winning note with a 1-0 victory over Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium.
"It was a fairytale ending for us, it has been a great journey for us," Rodgers told Sky Sports News.
"We've been underdogs from the off, but we have shown we are here to compete and play how we wanted to play and to beat Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in our first season makes me very proud.
"We celebrate the success of a fantastic first season and the players deserved their lap of honour for having the courage to play and they take all the credit."
Rodgers joined Swansea in July 2010 after six months at Reading.
