Stoke City's James Alabi to stay at Scunthorpe United

Stoke City youngster James Alabi will remain at Scunthorpe United until the end of the season, the Premier League club have confirmed.

The 18-year-old moved to the League One outfit for an initial one-month loan deal, but it has since been extended to the last seven games of the campaign.

The striker netted his first goal for the side against Hartlepool United on his debut, and has since made three appearances from the substitutes' bench.

Scunthorpe are currently fourth-from-bottom in the table.
