Stoke put off by Cameron valuation

Stoke City's attempts to sign Houston Dynamo midfielder Geoff Cameron have come unstuck after the MLS club reportedly valued the player at £2.2m.

The Potters were hoping to secure the services of the 27-year-old for around £1.5m.

However, they have now been put off by the price tag for the USA international, according to The Mirror.

Cameron, who has scored 11 goals in 114 games, was named in the 2011 MLS All-Star team.
