Alex Pritchard makes his full Huddersfield Town debut against Stoke City this afternoon.

The 24-year-old is handed a start after coming off the bench in the defeat to West Ham United last Saturday following his move from Norwich City.

The midfielder's inclusion represents one of three changes from the game at the John Smith's Stadium, with Florent Hadergjonaj and Steve Mounie also coming in.

Tommy Smith and Laurent Depoitre drop to the bench, while Joe Lolley - scorer of the Terriers' only goal in that match - misses out.

Incoming Stoke boss Paul Lambert makes four changes from the side that fell to a 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Monday as he tries to arrest a four-game winless run.

Ryan Shawcross returns to the XI following injury, while Erik Pieters, Charlie Adam and Mame Biram Diouf also start.

Bruno Martins Indi, Peter Crouch and Stephen Ireland drop to the bench, while Josh Tymon misses out.

Stoke City: Butland, Bauer, Pieters, Zouma, Shawcross, Allen, Fletcher, Adam, Shaqiri, Choupo-Moting, Diouf
Subs: Grant, Martins Indi, Cameron, Edwards, Sobhi, Ireland, Crouch

Huddersfield Town: Lossl; Malone, Hadergjonaj, Schindler, Zanka; Hogg, Mooy; Van La Parra, Ince, Pritchard; Mounie
