Gary Rowett assembles backroom team at Stoke City

Stoke City manager Gary Rowett has assembled his backroom team at the Championship club.

Kevin Phillips, Callum Davidson, Rory Delap, Mark Sale, Dave Carolan and Joe Carnall will work under the former Derby County boss next season.

Phillips, Davidson and Delap will serve as first-team coaches, working with the club's strikers, midfielders and defenders, while Sale has been handed the same job title.

Carolan has been named as head of performance, while Carnall will tackle the role of head of tactical insights.

Meanwhile, Andy Quy will remain at the club as goalkeeping coach.
