Jermaine Pennant blasts Tony Pulis

Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant has taken to Twitter to launch an attack on Potters boss Tony Pulis.

The 29-year-old was deployed in defence as Stoke lost 2-0 to Wigan Athletic on Saturday and Pennant has expressed his frustration.

"I can't score a free kick if there isn't 1 around the box and I played bloody wing back today I've never ever been a full back in my life," Pennant tweeted.

Pennant has made 37 appearances for Stoke this season.
