Hugo Lloris linked with Tottenham Hotspur

Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has reportedly been identified as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

The France international has been in good form for Lyon this season and the Metro suggests that Harry Redknapp believes that the 25-year-old is an ideal long-term replacement for Brad Friedel.

Rumours in France claim that Spurs may table a bid for Lloris at the end of the current season.

In recent times Newcastle United's Tim Krul has also been linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

Lloris has been at Lyon since his move to the club from Nice in 2008.
