Report: Spurs to raise funds for Lukaku

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to listen to offers for two of their forwards as they attempt to raise funds for a Romelu Lukaku bid.

New Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to join the race to sign Chelsea forward Lukaku, who is believed to be a target for a number of clubs in Europe after impressing during a loan spell with Everton.

According to The Mirror, the club would help fund a move for the Belgian by allowing Emmanuel Adebayor to leave White Hart Lane this summer, with Monaco reported to be monitoring the situation.

The Togolese forward was a key member of the team under Tim Sherwood, but both he and Roberto Soldado could be available as Spurs look to make changes ahead of another attempt to qualify for the Champions League.

Soldado joined Spurs from Valencia for a fee close to £26m last season.
