Ganso nears Sao Paulo move

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly missed out on the chance to sign Santos midfielder Ganso.

The 22-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best players in Brazil, had been linked with a host of European clubs.

However, according reports in Brazil, the Brazilian has snubbed interest from the Premier League to sign for Sao Paulo on a three-year contract.

Ganso has eight Brazilian caps to his name.
