Everton in pole position to sign Lennon?

Everton are considering an approach for Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon, according to reports.

The 27-year-old is said to have been given permission to leave White Hart Lane this month after nearly a decade at the club.

According to The Mirror, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has prioritised the signing of a winger this month, and Lennon is at the top of his list.

The England international joined Spurs from Leeds United in 2005 and has gone on to make 364 appearances for the North Londoners.
