Harry Redknapp laments Toffees defeat

Harry Redknapp admits he was "suicidal" following Spurs' third straight league defeat at Everton yesterday.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that he was "suicidal" after yesterday's Premier League defeat at Everton.

Nikica Jelavic's first goal for the Toffees was enough to consign Redknapp's men to their third straight league defeat following losses to Arsenal and Manchester United.

"I'm suicidal really," said the 65-year-old. "We've lost away to Arsenal, away to Everton and at home to Manchester United and they're always going to be tough games.

"Two of the games we didn't deserve to lose, today and against Manchester United."

The aforementioned defeats have meant that Spurs' North London rivals Arsenal are closing in on third place and victory for the Gunners over Newcastle on Monday would put them just a point behind Redknapp's men.
