Reaching this stage of the competition has effectively kept Ange Postecoglou in a job for the time being, that having the potential to change if they succumb over two games with this opponent.

Spurs warmed up for this contest with a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, Postecoglou having played a strong team aside from resting several of his first-choice defenders.

Son Heung-min had been playing through the pain of a chronic foot problem for a while before having to start a spell on the sidelines three matches ago. In his latest update, Postecoglou has acknowledged the South Korean star remains a major doubt for this contest.
