Southampton closing in on Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster?

Southampton are reportedly closing in on a move for Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

It was reported last month that the Premier League club was keen on signing the England international for around £9m.

The 26-year-old could now arrive at St Mary's to finalise a switch at the end of the week, according to ESPN.

Celtic are back in action on Wednesday when they will look to overturn a 1-4 first-leg deficit against Legia Warsaw in the third round of Champions League qualifying.

Forster joined the Scottish champions in 2012 following a six-year spell with Newcastle United.
