Team News: Graziano Pelle returns for Southampton

Graziano Pelle returns to the Southampton starting XI to face Everton in the Premier League.

Graziano Pelle has returned to the Southampton starting XI to face Everton this afternoon after missing the League Cup quarter-final defeat to Sheffield United in midweek due to suspension.

Maya Yoshida, Shane Long, James Ward-Prowse and 19-year-old midfielder Harrison Reed, who is making his Premier League debut, also come in for the Saints.

Everton, replace Aiden McGeady and Kevin Mirallas with Gareth Barry and Samuel Eto'o as they look to avoid a third consecutive away defeat.

Leon Osman misses out after suffering an ankle injury, while John Stones is still on the sidelines.

Southampton: Forster; Alderweireld, Fonte, Yoshida, Clyne; Reed, Ward-Prowse, S. Davis, Bertrand; Long, Pelle

Everton: Howard; Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines; Barry, Bešić, Barkley, Naismith, Eto'o; Lukaku
