Sheffield United boss Wilder to keep faith with winning side

The Blades saw off Blackburn in midweek.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder could name an unchanged starting line-up again for the home game against Hull.

Wilder has no new injury or suspension problems following the midweek win at Blackburn and must decide whether to tinker with a winning formula.

On-loan Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn is hoping to return to the squad after being left out altogether for the Blades’ last two matches.

Midfielder Paul Coutts made his first appearance of the season off the bench at Blackburn after recovering from a broken leg and is expected to feature again.

Hull head coach Nigel Adkins has revealed midfielder Jackson Irvine could play against Sheffield United.

The Australia international suffered an Achilles injury in the first half of the 1-0 defeat to Leeds on Tuesday and was initially described as doubtful for the game at Bramall Lane by Adkins.

The Hull boss has since said Irvine has a chance of being fit for Saturday and goalkeeper George Long, who missed the Leeds game through illness, is expected to make the squad.

Midfielder Dan Batty will be pushing for a starting place after being in the squad to face Leeds.
